HeavenThe old lady sat down in the chairHeaven by *Carenza
And with a kindly smile said
'You'll be rewarded in Heaven'
Which made me think of Death
White fluffy clouds, and subsequently, sheep.
Now, putting all Religion aside, I think
Death is a long time to wait
for a reward so gained easily
(I only gave up my seat)
And then I got to thinking of
What could lie behind Heavens gates,
My sins, and what about a refund
If they didn't let me in.
So I asked her for a receipt.

The Half wayI'm halfway wonderingThe Half way by *Carenza
Where the line cuts off
Between sight and blindness
And where the perception of them ends
Or if bordering between a peace
And a madness
Where an observer would cease to care.
Because some people could
Be said to be troubled
With an affliction standing
Precisely nowhere
Some people, their pain
Is rendered invisible
Through a grim determination
Or by apathetic stares
Not blind, not mad
Just In need of some healing
But only ever halfway there.
