Hello dearie, today (well, tonight, where I am), I shall be talking with you about your artwork, titled "Mini Terrarium Ring ver. 2".
First of all, I really must confess, the first thing that ran through my head when I saw this marvellous piece of work was, "I simply must buy this!" Your artwork is awesome, and its rustic feel and uniqueness makes it all the more cool.
The little terrarium in the glass dome on the ring captures just enough of nature to be displayed in such a tiny space. I really like how just a few clay toadstools, a beautiful bit of moss, and I think some grass of some sort, could result in such a pretty, quaint, and wholesome ring, whose base is just a humble brass ring with a coronet-like bud.
I really like how you manage to make the details on the toadstool so perfectly, given that it's minuscule and probably very difficult to even shape properly.
I also would like to ask, where could you buy this type of clay, the ring and the dome? Where I live, art shops don't simply pop everywhere, and when they do, every single item there is so costly and usually not worth it. Looking at this ring makes me want to do something similar (yet different, in case you thing I'm going to plagiarise), and I also would love to learn from you
I understand that this ring is based on the terrariums that almost every science lab at school has. I also thought it to resemble a snow-globe of some sort, which brings back old memories...
Anyways, I really like your work, and you must simply not stop your creative imagination from working!
